I had to upgrade to the Deluxe version. I bought the disk at Target. Turbo Tax is trying to charge for the Deluxe version upon check out. Won't recognize my paid version?

It installed just fine but didn't list my previously entered data.  It allowed me to switch to on-line and it found all my data.  So I proceeded.  Now turbo tax is trying to get a double payday.

You got the disk program installed?  Now you need to move your online return to it.  Online and Desktop are 2 different things and don't talk or sync to each other.

You can move your Online file to the Desktop program and continue without paying for Online or needing to reenter your info.  Or just start a new return in the Desktop program.

To continue in the desktop version see this…….

After you get the program installed the first thing to do before you open your tax return .tax file is to update the program and install any state programs you had. Then open your file. So you first might need to start a fake return to be able to download the state program (go to FILE - NEW).

Does anyone have an answer to this. I purchased the download + state from Amazon. I am trying to file. I only used my one state, and turbotax is trying to charge me an additional $25 on top of the $50 I spent to file the state (which my purchase clearly says is included.)
