Sorry you might need to upgrade your Mac. You are posting from OS 10.10.5. You need OS 10.11 or higher or you will have to use the Online web version.

I'm on the phone with a Turbo Tax rep. Trying to switch to the PC version. I'm not going to do the online version as I'm not convinced that my data will be secure.
I’m having a problem getting full access to the TurboTax screen after opening. My Mac iOS is up to date with iOS 10.14.4 but when I finish what I can reach I cannot scroll down and move to the next screen. Help I just downloaded your latest version from Amazon last night.
@scott.logan - iOS ? That is for mobile devices. TurboTax only runs on a Mac or Widows computer.
If there is no scroll bar the that is a Mac preference to show or not show scroll bars.
I just checked VolvoGirl and I'm on a Mac and the iOS or OSMac Mojave 10.14.2 with no additional updates available. I do have a Mac downstairs but I'm trying to complete them on my Mac Book Pro. Perhaps I have an older model I will try again to update but it says its up to date.

Exactly what is your problem? Shold be no problem with Mac OS X 10.14.4.
to be exact it cuts off the bottom of the screen and won't let me navigate through and i can't get access to the bottom of a screen to move/continue to the next screen. Annoying because I've used that method for years and all my tax files are in that format and I don't have access to them on the online version but I'm logged in using that version now. Still if you can help that would be good. Thanks any for clarifying Mac OS X 10.14.4 That confused me for a while.
Exactly what cuts off? There is an issue with the pop-up box for paying with a credit card on Macs with small screens, but other data entry screens can be scrolled down.
If your System Preferences -> General is set to hide scrollbars, then they should appear when you try to scroll down or you can turn them on to always show.
I am having the same problem. It looks like it downloads the application but it won't open. I have tried both the disc and the download and have used TT on this computer for the last two years with no problem. TT hellp has obviously been no help.
I have updated to the latest Catalina and Apple tells me it is working fine....??????
I did get a refund but don't like the online version much.
When I go to open turbotax the box that says its checking for updates comes up and then nothing happens. I am using turbotax premier product and mac is catalina 10.15.3. I had been using the program successfully on my mac working on my return and went to purchase the audit defense product add on and this crashed turbotax and I havent been able to open or run the program since. Please help.
I have the same problem. I wonder if Apple will release Catalina 10.15.4 soon. If they do would that fix the problem or be heading in the wrong direction? The Catalina 10.15.4 beta is out now but it is only for developers and beta testers. Turbo tax has an online version of Turbo Tax Deluxe 2019 for mac. I might have to switch. Could I transfer work that I have done on my 2019 return to the online 2019 return? I have done about 3/4 of the work. Now I might have to start over. Hope there is a solution somewhere.

If restarting the Mac does not help then
Corruption could have occurred in the Application or in an associated preference or support file.
The best remedy is to totally uninstall TurboTax and all associate files and then re-install. That will not delete or change any .tax2019 data file that had already been created with the tax data.
To uninstall the application and all associated files need to be deleted and then the application reinstalled. If there was a state then the state must also be reinstalled.
Here is a FAQ for how to uninstall Mac

I tried this procedure and it finally worked. It is necessary to remove all the files that are listed in the instructions. If you miss one you have to start over. You can ignore the last two instructions if you have the cd or downloaded from turbo tax. The last two instructions are for people who purchased turbo tax from the apple store. I restarted the computer after deleting all of the turbo tax library files for my year according to the instructions then restarted the computer. Afterwards I reinstalled the turbo tax software from the first download that was issued in fall for my year, then restarted the computer a second time. Launched application, downloaded updates then downloaded state return. Best of luck.
This happened to me as well. They don't have a solution and if you want to avoid the stress, request the Windows/PC version and ask someone you know to borrow there computer.
If you have uninstalled and reinstalled the program and are still having issues you can contact support.
This FAQ will provide you the steps to contact an agent. https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/1899263-what-is-the-turbotax-phone-number
I have completed one return and am in the middle of the second one. TurboTax Mac worked perfectly before the automatic upgrade so is there any way to stop the auto upgrade if I uninstall this version and reinstall the disc version? Or, how do I stop the auto upgrades?

You cannot except by disconnecting the internet and then print and mail. E-file will not be permitted if there is an update.
I tried this method and it did work but I'm wondering what made it crash in the first place. Do you have any ideas as to why it crashed like that to begin with. I was completely done and ready to efile when my system crashed.
