I am trying to correct my StateTaxFiling, due to receiving a Rejection Notice. The instructions tell me to Click on the State Taxes tab. I cant find that tab.Can you help

Can you please let us know the reason for the rejection or a rejection code if you have one? Also, if you could let us know the state you're filing and the version of TurboTax you're using, that would be helpful.

new york state was rejected due to turbo tax softrware saw my turbotaxwas updated yesterday for new york and resubmitted it

We are all having the same problem with the rejection due to a TurboTax software issue. I've had to refile. The issue is that you may have deductions that the software didn't go over with you, including the purchase of Turbo Tax, or other expenses that may be deducted.

 

If you didn't have any of these expenses, then just go to the FILE tab and refile your state return (no additional fee). If you did, go to your Federal deductions tab, update the final section, then run the error check and review again, then refile your state taxes.
