I don't think you even read my question. I already read that post and it is not helpful. I tried the contact link on the page and filled out a bunch of information and placed a call to turbotax nd was disconnected after 13 minutes.

I simply LOST my activation code too. There has been "no" real live person to speak with or helpful ideas off the WEB. I have used TurboTax since 2001 and this activation code was never even used. You think that would at least embed the code in the "About TurboTax" menu for the owner of that copy to access my product. I paid for this software, and I should be able to use it in accordance with the license agreement. I understand the importance of TurboTax's statement "Keep this code in a safe place," but things just get lost. What worse is that no one at TurbTax is there to help.

Thank you. After many attempts to recover the activation code off the WEB site, I used your link and spoke with a human. He was sympathetic, given my anxiety over TurboxTax 2019 not activating on my new iMac, and he worked with me to recover the activation code/license code. Whew........

I always put my code on the disk. LAST year, I didnt. I have every turbo Tax box from 2013 to now EXCEPT 2019 which I need to print my taxes to refinance our house.

i am disappointed in Turbo tax! there should be some way around this!!!
Last year for 2019 was the first year you needed the License Code. They should give you another one. Didn't you save the pdf if your filed return when you were done? You should always save it as a pdf. Then you don't need the program installed to get a copy.

They might be expensive and it is probably not safe to email tax returns back and forth. They are not related to Turbo Tax.

No you have to call in and ask for another License Code. And please remove your email address. This is a public user forum and the whole world can see it. You will get spammed, scammed, etc. And anyone can email you and say they are Turbo Tax.

I am in the middle of a return and can't access it because I lost my activation code. I can't even access the completed returns saved as PDF's on my desktop. Turbo tax say since I purchased from a retailer they cannot help me. It seems crazy that I will need to purchase another 80.00 program to finish up this return. I have the folder the CD came in but not the activation code which I tore off and probably threw away. HELP
