Husbands income

What is the income limit for married filing joint. My income alone is $35k, my husbands income was $12,147, whenever I add his income, our refund drops $2k, do I have to include his w2

Husbands income

All income from all sources has to be entered on a tax return.  When filing jointly you must report all income for both you and your spouse.

Yes, if you are filing married filing jointly then you will have to enter all your and your husband's income. You will have to include his W-2.

 

Please be aware that the refund shown won't be accurate until all income and information are entered.
