How can I import my W2 and 1099 DIV data from Fidelity Investments

The import feature worked last year, but I don't see it this year

To access your current or prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

When you sign onto your online account and land on the Tax Home web page, scroll down and click on Add a state.

This will take you back to the 2021 online tax return.

Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen.  Then click on Print Center.  Then click on Print, save or preview this year's return.  Choose the option Include government and TurboTax worksheets

You should be able to import from Fidelity. Can you please clarify, where is the option not available for your W-2 or 1099?  Please see the below TurboTax help articles for information on importing.

Hi, When at the screen to enter W2 info, the only options were to enter manually or upload a file. Last year (and prior years) there was an easy option for TurboTax to retrieve all of my tax info (W2 and 1099 DIV/INT)from Fidelity Investments, who is also my employer. I ended up taking a picture of my W2 on my phone and uploaded it to TurboTax. However, I had to manually enter the 1099 DIV/INT info. Since I already completed my taxes, I can't provide screen shots. Sorry.

Also, I am unable to print all of the schedules and worksheets. It only prints the ones going to the IRS. Specifically, I need Schedule 1 to fill out a FAFSA form for college. Thanks for your help! Joe

Fidelity Investments is still a Turbo Tax authorized partner which allows for imports however you have mentioned already doing so manually. Regarding the printing of your schedules and worksheets (providing that they all are currently available for print), please go to tax tools, print center, print and then make sure to check mark the option that speaks about including worksheets. I am attaching a screenshot for your reference.

Thank you for responding. I do not see the Turbo Tax Print Center options. I attached a screen shot of what I see. I do not see any options to print worksheets and schedules. Another TurboTax rep said there was an upgrade this year for Windows 10 and the design of the website was changed. Please advise! Thanks Joe

Click Add a State.  It will not really add a state and will get you back to the main menu.  Then you can click Tax Tool and get to the print center.

@MichelleLO
Which download version can be used to import investment account dividends? It isn’t clear which version is being addressed here. (Can Deluxe download do it?)

TurboTax Premier is the software that supports importing investment information.
