Converting turbotax IRS Free File to paid versions?

I thought my AGI was lower than it was and after I'd filled out all my taxes (so it told me I can't free file). I am able to save out a .tax2020 file from the IRS free file version online though. Will this be compatible with the paid version somehow? Can I import it? Should I get the paid online file or the desktop/CD app? All of this is super confusing and the fact that I can't just upgrade online isn't helpful.

You will not be able to import year file but help with starting over and upgraded has been provided for you by clicking here.

I’m sorry that’s not an option on my version:

If I can’t upgrade without having to restart my entire return there is no point in sticking with a program that has such awful user experience that you can’t even import the tax file export I previously mentioned. Why is that even an option if it isn’t useful? I’d rather use another companies software if that’s how low the bar is at TurboTax.

Are you sure there isn’t another way you can earn my business? Maybe a discount since I’ve already sunk a day and a half’s work into this return?
