Cardcard payment is not working to finish filing

Hi All

You are not accepting credit card payments.  I have tried 4 different cards.  I verified the address.  I see other customers are having the same problem.  Please advise.

Thank you for letting us know about this experience. If you're unable to pay through the program, you can pay over the phone at 1-888-808-1723, or go to payments.turbotax.intuit.com.

your support is horrible on this issue- not resolved for a year and my daughter has not received her refund from last year, TPG is not helpful - turbo support is not helpful- bad review for this program- i have been using turbo for over 15 years and last year was my first bad experience -

this is ridiculous!   credit card processing does NOT work.  Making a phone call to attempt to pay the $20 state filing doesn't work either..  frustrated!

so when trying to pay the $25 state filing fee I was taken into Intuit to a Billing Adress screen whi ch was prepopulated with address/phone but not name. when I tried to add my last name, it indicated a RED squigly line under my last name and wouldn't allow me to continue. - i think i know how to spell me last name.

when I click on you payments.turbo.intuit.com link it asks fr order number - was never given an order number

Please feel free to contact Customer Support so they can assist you. You will want to use the keywords billing issues when you call so you get to the right person.

doing everything to avoid a call - again, solved it cuz I had a federal refund and deducted the state fee from the refund but I was also charged the $40 processing fee - worth it. for the future, whats the best time to call the support number?

thx

We are glad you were able to resolve the issue. It may be best to try calling early in the morning since they get busier throughout the day.

Please try the following steps which may help clear the loop you are experiencing:

  • Log completely out of Turbo Tax.
  • Then, clear your cache and cookies within your browser and completely close out of it.  I have included the Help Articles below if you need assistance with clearing cache or cookies.
  • Re-open the browser and log back into Turbo Tax and see if this fixes the situation.
    • You can also try a different browser as well, or "incognito mode".
  • If the above steps still do not allow you to proceed with payment, try this workaround:  Enter 123 Main St. for the address and use your typical city, state, and zip code.

Clear Cache

Delete Cookies

thanks for your reply.  did not fix.

I'm not using TT online, but rather the desktop version.

I'm amazed and how bad this product has become.  Was on the phone with someone for 45 minutes.  still no fix.  My word Intuit!  how hard is it to take someone's payment??  I'm now just going to go to the state website and do it online.

Last year for me using this product.

ummm.... no you can't.  called that #.  on phone with "technician" for 40 minutes.  could not solve, nor process a payment.

I'm not sure which is worse:  1> your faulty  product    2> lack of support  3> when you give the WRONG answers for support.   the link provided does not work either.  This is like a bad comedy of how to take a great product and ruin it.

I've used TT  for over 20 years.  the last 2 years have been awful.

I too was using the desktop but since the payment stuff went from a link in the desktop to a payment in the browser ( I use Chrome) I may try clearing cache etc next year. but I will make sure I have a Federal refund cuz that was the ony thing that saved me a phone call

Your computer should come with a different browser.

For example, if you use Windows there should be a built-in application for Edge, or for Mac, there is a built-in application for Safari.  You can also download Firefox online by searching for it on your search engine.

This advice is incorrect.  Neither option is a payment method.

If you can clarify what happens when you try to enter your payment, we'll try to help.

Normally, another window opens to enter credit card info.  Are you getting an error message on that page?
