Can not update my turbotax 2020 The process hangs with no result

I see that you are using TurboTax Online. The online version of TurboTax should not require you to make any updates. May I ask what you are trying to update or accomplish so we can best assist you?

the online and cd download of the 2020 will not update the file. i have a Mac. it starts to download then it stops toward the end.

when i open the application it indicated an update. it down loads the extract but does not install all the way.

Close the application the open again as Administrator.  Right click on the Application and select " Run as Administrator"  Type in your admin password if you are not the admin on that computer.

Had the same problem with Turbotax 2021. Turned out it just needed 15 minutes to do the extraction, then it worked.
