1099-OID, Foreign Accounts keeps popping that it needs review

I am importing my 1099-OID from LendingClub. Then I remove 0.00 from Box 4. After I save the form. It keeps saying that it needs review. How can I move forward?

Kind regards,

Vladimir

It depends. See if you can move past this point and file your return. Sometimes these imports can be tricky. If it continues to err, you may consider deleting this particular imported 1099 OID and manually entering it.

Thanks for your reply. I have deleted this a couple of times. I tried both entering manually and getting Turbotax to get the form from LendingClub. So far I have been without luck.

@melijov

Please try the below to see if it will clear the loop.

  • Try to log completely out of Turbo Tax.
  • Then, clear your cache and cookies within your browser and completely close out of it.  I have included the Help Articles below if you need assistance with clearing cache or cookies.
  • Re-open the browser and log back into Turbo Tax and see if this fixes the situation.  You can also try a different browser as well or "incognito mode".

If the steps do not resolve the issue, please reach back out here in the thread and someone will follow up with the next steps.

Good evening,

Thanks for your reply and the detailed information. I did my best to follow your instructions.

1. I removed the cache, the cookies and all the history of my browser (Opera) and then tried again but I am still getting the same error. I did notice that in the Form 1099-OID Summary page under Totals I have $0.00 for Other Interest. When I edit the form there are no zeroes anywhere. I am not sure if this is the issue.

2. I tried Chrome afterwards. I brought the form back from LendingClub, removed the zero and went through the steps. Got same problem. Then deleted the form and tried to enter it myself. I got the same result.

Kind regards,

Vladimir

You are probably better off having someone walk through the return with you to look at your entries so I recommend getting live expert help.

Here is a link to finding a TurboTax expert.

However, that requires upgrading your product which may be an expense you don't want.  In that case you can call an expert and ask questions over the phone.
