Hi, I notice this bug in both the downloaded Mac version of TurboTax Home and Business 2022 and also in 2021.
When you enter amounts into 1099-k's they are totaled in the 1099-K summary, but after clicking Done, they are not listed in the Business Income total for the 1099-k line ($0.00). Can other people try entering in 1099-K amounts and see if it is happening to them as well?
I reported the bug to TurboTax for the 2021 version last year and after an hour the customer support person just shrugged her shoulders. I had to manual override the amounts in the Schedule C but I don't want to keep doing that for this year as well.
To ensure that this bug is reported correctly, please reach out to TurboTax Customer Support.
This was not helpful. I found the number to call TurboTax which then prompted me to provide my number to send me a text message link for more help, and when I clicked on the link it just directed me back to this site to "Report A Bug." Is there actually a portal to upload the bug? I have to call TurboTax again and try to ignore their attempts to divert me away from trying to speak to a live human.
Yes, same issue on a Windows PC winning Window 11, and yes, the TurboTax is Home and Business 2022 and it's fully updated. The 1099-Ks (I have 2 of them) are not showing on the Business Income Summary page. It appears that the amounts are entered ok on the schedule C form, though I have not completed the taxes to print the PDF out to verify that it's really OK
You can verify that your income is showing up on your Schedule C in TurboTax Home & Business without having to print it out.
To do this you can follow these steps:
I'm having the same problem using the 2024 edition. How many years does it take to be fixed?
Is there any override? I am trying to fill my 2024 edition and the income keeps showing zero, having to entries in the 1099-K amounts. I was thinking that it was an error of display, but when printing the return is still in zero. No way to send it with zero income to the IRS.
