I initially assumed it covered the full payment, only to discover it was solely for federal tax. I haven't settled the remaining amount for the Premier version. My preference is to use the Deluxe version, but unfortunately, the Premier version doesn't provide me with that option. How can I remove the Premier version from my account? Your assistance is appreciated.

I didn't follow that. Are you using the Online version? In Online it is now called Premium not Premier. The Desktop still has Premier.
For Online you can try to downgrade but you have to clear and start over

I decided to use my Deluxe CD instead. However, when attempting to install it (after uninstalling Premier), a window appeared prompting me to update TurboTax 2023, but there was not visible button no. Clicking on the update TurboTax 2023 option caused Deluxe to close on my laptop screen.
