We don't have access to your return information, so we'd need more detail to give more specific help (but no personal information, please).  In general, you will be taxed in Kansas on all income earned from all sources once you became a Kansas resident, and from any Kansas sources from all periods of the year.  If you wish to provide examples, we can assist further.

We moved to Kansas on July 3rd.  When Turbotax askes about our income allocation I figured it at 49% of annual earnings.  As an example: wages for the year 50,000 and I put 24,500 as the allocation for Kansas.  Is this right?

That's great.  Basically 180/365 days is approximately 49% of the year in KS.
