After your customer sets up two-step verification in TurboTax, they can use the Google Authenticator app to create their verification codes. Get the iPhone version at the App Store or the Android version through Google Play.

Send these instructions to your customer:

  • Sign in to TurboTax and select Intuit Account from the left menu.

  • Select Sign in & security.

  • Select Turn on for 2-step verification, if it's not already on.

  • Select Add for Authenticator.

  • Select Set up authenticator app and follow the instructions to link your Intuit Account.

To disable Google Authenticator, disable the two-step verification feature.
