Thought TurboTax Simple was free. We are too simple, retired and both SS Disabled. No other forms but 1040. Now being charged $59 and can't remove it. What gives?

No way to remove the Plus services that I didn't use.

If your TurboTax fees are higher than expected, you can reduce them by removing add-ons:
