How do I check 1040 as I enter info in Turbotax, to see my Adjusted Gross Income (AGI), so I know if I can contribute to a Roth (must enter before I can file)?

Isn't there a way to see the actual 1040 form before completing and filling?

Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the screen. Click on Tools. Click on View Tax Summary. Click on Preview my 1040 on the left side of the screen.

Yes.

To view your 1040 form, follow these steps:

  1. Select Tax Tools from the menu on the left side of your screen (click or tap the 3 lines in the upper-left corner if you don't see this menu).
  2. Select Tools, and then select View Tax Summary
  3. Preview my 1040 under Tax Home (sidebar)
  4. Click Back near the top of your screen to exit the preview screen.
