Trying to import my 1099 cosolidated forms from JP Morgan, TurboTax 2021 (mac version) requires a "identification code" which it says can be "obtain using link below". I find the sentence "Get Your Identificaiton Code" but it is not a link, nor is there a link on that page. This is definitely a BUG!! please fix ASAP!
I'm having this issue as well, for J.P. Morgan securities, but on a Mac computer. The words "Get your identification code" are there, but they are just black type/text like the rest of the paragraph. Nothing happens when you click on the words. It appears there is no hyperlink connected to the sentence.
Just checked, still no updates on it.
This issue is still being investigated; as soon as an update is made available we will let you know. Please ensure that you have signed up for updates through the link that HeatherPLO provided above @Katwar1.
For TurboTax Home & Business 2021 for Mac., when I tried to import J.P.Morgan Security, it asks to click" Get your identification Code" but there is no hypo-link below? There is only one sentence says "Get your identification code" but it is not a hypo-link. When you click it, there is no response. It seems there is a software "bug" here. Please fix it asap and respond to me.
Thanks!
Steve
I have the same issue and hopefully, the bug will be fixed soon!
Has anyone figured out how to fix this or a workaround - manually importing is a huge pain and what I was hoping to avoid in purchasing the software. Even when clicking on chase it says it is not working and I have the latest update- is this only a problem on Mac TT deluxe?
Is there a workaround- since this issue has not been resolved and the link u provided doesn’t work.
When you click on 'Get your Identification Code' (screenshot), you should be taken to your Chase login page. Sign In and you should get a page to receive your TurboTax Code (screenshot).
You can also upload the forms from your computer.
If your import just won't work, you can Enter a Summary in Lieu of Individual Transactions (2 lines; short-term, long-term).
It's still not working... I have Premier on Mac... Pls fix asap... As I don't want to manually type.. Thank you!
The link for “get your identification code here” does not work— as reported by other users. It’s simply in black and u cannot click on it. Please fix asap.
I am having the same issue - what is the status of fixing this issue????
The link does not work on Mac - and when u click on chase bank as a work around you get an error message. Will this be fixed? Is this an issue just with certain versions- can we switch and try it on pc? I really don’t want to manually input tons of transactions: ridiculous.
Is this issue resolved? So far I the link to get the ID code is still not functioning and the link to get updates on this issue is expired.
Thank you,

I'm having the same problem. The words "Get You Identification Code" are there, but it is not a link, and clicking on it does nothing. The link to get updates on this issue has expired. I'm running TT Premier on a Mac, and I have applied all the updates available as of today.
Please follow the advise of @marilynjoy above. If this does not work, please click here to contact customer support.
The Help Article link leads to a page that says...
"We're sorry, we can't find the page you requested."
Has this been resolved. I called Chase and they said it is a TurboTax issue. Please advise. "Get an Identification Link" still does not work. Thank you.
Please follow the instructions here in order to get the workaround for this issue.
Even the link you sent to switch over to the online version is broken and unclear. When clicking on it, it simply takes you to a community discussion page where there are others complaining about the same problem. Can you point us to a CLEAR LINK and instructions on how to switch over to the online version? Does this mean we have to start our returns all over? How does a major tax software company not allow you to import from one of the largest banks in America - and now we are being told it won't be fixed till AFTER the tax season. In addition, the "workaround" is confusing and inaccessible. Turbotax should offer refunds for those of us who paid for a download product that simply doesn't work.
As mentioned earlier the link to Switch to QB Online provided is broken. I googled the following link...
How do I switch from TurboTax CD/Download to TurboTax Online?
BUT at the very start, the article says...
* You can transfer your tax data file... only if you're switching a prior year return
* You can't transfer your current year return
So it sounds like if you have already started your return on your Desktop when you reached the "no identification link available" error - you have to restart if switching to the Online version?
I am not a tax expert OR a Turbotax (TT) employee. So please anyone out there please let me know if this true - "you need to restart inputting your taxes if switching to TT online"?
I apologize for the inconvenience, please contact us at customer support so we can further assist you.
This is the whole reason I paid for the Premium version, this bug is preventing me from moving forward, and should be considered a high priority bug.
Please see these steps provided by Chase to help with your import.
For Brokerage and Managed Accounts
Within the TurboTax software, use “Chase Investments” to search for the financial institution.
Enter your chase.com username, password, and identification code.
Request the identification code by clicking the ‘Get Your Identification Code’ link within TurboTax.
You'll be presented with a chase.com sign-in page for multifactor authentication purposes (similar to the one that appears when you sign in to chase.com from an unrecognized computer).
Choose to receive the identification code by phone, text, or email.
Upon receipt, type the identification code into TurboTax to proceed with the download process; the identification code expires after 30 minutes.
