After you file

If you are looking at your online TurboTax account and you are seeing that a tax return was prepared in the account, and that the return was accepted, you can also look at the tax return.   You can print it out and see the page of filing instructions that show where the refund was supposed to be going.    You can look at line 35a and see how much the refund was.   Track the refund on the IRS refund site.

You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount  (line 35a of your 2021 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:
