You'll need to amend your return for 2018.

  • You will need to print and mail the amendment.
  • Allow 8-12 weeks for processing.

See this TurboTax FAQ for help with amending.

You can check the status of your amended return here, but allow 3 weeks after filing for it to show up.

No.

  You can use a

2019 1098E

on a

2019

tax return,    You cannot add past year data or documents to a different year's return.

If you did not use it last year when you filed for your 2018 return--why not?  Were you someone else's dependent for 2018?  Filing married filing separately?  Forgot to enter it?

I had already submitted electronically and then did not know how to do an amended one.  So...;. there is no way to get the 2018 info sent to them on the 2019 taxes?  Or... can I do a 2018 Amended Tax form?  Thoughts.
