Yet to get federal return back

Hello I have yet to get my federal tax return back. I have received my state return. I applied for direct deposit and was mailed my state return. I was wondering how long it takes to get the federal return back?

TurboTax gives you an estimated date for receiving your refund based on a 21 day average from your date of acceptance, but it can take longer.

Federal and state refunds come from completely separate entities.  You cannot expect them to arrive at the same time.

Once your federal return has been accepted by the IRS, only the IRS has any control. TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.

You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount  (line 20a of your Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:

To track your state refund:

On the IRS site you are also offered the use of an app called IRS2Go

If you chose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your federal refund, that will take some extra time, while the third party bank handles the refund processing.

The IRS says that most filers get their refund within 21 days but the do not guarantee it. Have you confirmed that your efiled return was transmitted by TurboTax and accepted by the IRS? https://shop.turbotax.intuit.com/efile/efile_status_lookup.jsp

If accepted, what does the IRS tracking web site say about the status of your refund? https://www.irs.gov/refunds

If your return was rejected, you must fix the reason for rejection and resubmit it.

If you chose to print and mail your return, you must print, sign and mail it yourself. TurboTax does not mail it for you.
