WMR no bars tax topic 152

I filed on Jan 29 and got accepted the next day. It’s been 21 days on feb 19 but wmr shows no bars and tax topic 152. I also owe from last year. Could that be a reason as to why i don’t have bars or my refund being late?

Tax 152 is a general IRS code referring to refund information.

It's possible that you don't see bars because the WMR (Where's My Refund?) site may be overwhelmed.  Try calling the WMR automated hotline instead: 1-800-829-1954.

Keep in mind, if you claimed the EIC (Earned Income Credit) or ACTC (Additional Child Tax Credit), the IRS expects the first of these refunds to be available in taxpayer bank accounts or on debit cards by the first week of March.

Refer to the following TurboTax FAQ for other tax situations that can delay refunds:  What if my IRS refund is taking longer than 21 day ...

Since it's been over 21 days since your return was accepted, you can always try calling the IRS to inquire about your refund.  Go here for tips on reaching a live IRS agent when you call.

If you mean you have contacted Turbot Tax and have been unsuccessful with speaking to a live person, you need to contact the IRS. Please know that once the IRS accepts and starts to process your return, Turbo Tax is no longer able to assist you with it, you need to contact the IRS for questions on the status of your return. Here is the link that can help you with that: How do I contact the Internal Revenue Service (IRS... - Community
