The TurboTax system only let me file a 2019 Amend, not a normal tax return. I filed the Amend last Sunday. Will it end up well or should I file again? How?

You can't file an amended tax return until after you file your first tax return for the year.

 

Your amended tax return can only be printed and mailed in, so if you haven't mailed in your amended return, it is not filed. 

 

In your case, you may want to contact TurboTax Support to find out if you have filed a return yet for 2019.

First better check if you filed a regular 1040 original return.  Check your efile status here

Did you happen to click on Amend to let you back into your retun?  That was wrong.  You can delete the amended return this way.  Do the steps slowly and carefully.  After you delete it then you need to manually take out the changes you made to put your return back to the original return.
