Accepted just means that all the forms seemed complete and the irs accepted them. Your next step is for them to be approved. Thats when you will get a date. If you filed EIC or dependents the IRS only started looking at those yesterday by law. Deposit should start next week.

Accepted means your return was received and the basics (such as the correct social security number) seem to be in order.

To track your federal refund, look on the IRS Where's My Refund site.

For state refunds, use your state government's refund lookup service.

(Go here if you need information on how to amend a return you’ve already filed.)

The IRS expects the earliest EITC/ACTC related refunds to be available in taxpayer bank accounts or debit cards starting February 27, 2019, if these taxpayers chose direct deposit and there are no other issues with their tax return.
