It has been 21 days and my refund still shows "processing" without any tax topic. What should I do?

After 21 days, you can phone the IRS to see if you can learn what the delay is.

IRS:  800-829-1040  hours 7 AM - 7 PM local time Mon-Fri

When calling the IRS do not choose the first choice re: "Refund", or it will send you to an automated phone line.

First choose your language.
Then press 2 for "personal income tax".
Then press 1 for "form, tax history, or payment".
Then press 3 "for all other questions."
Then press 2 "for all other questions."  It should then transfer you to an agent, but there is likely to be a long wait.

I usually use a speakerphone so I can work on something else while waiting.

I followed the same steps but when it said I was being transferred to an agent, the automation told me to call back another time.

Mine as well files Jan 30 accepted Jan 30 bars disappeared roughly February 16 haven’t appeared since and cannot reach anyone by phone it always disconnects topic 152 is my code listed with refund still processing . My friend filed her taxes with only one W2 unknowingly due to our employee giving us 2 and had both over 6000 and she has gotten hers already as she was told
An amendment is needed well obviously not as she got her refund a week later and she claimed EITC this tax year is a mess and I blame the Donald

I filed on February 9th,  it was accepted and processing,  now it is March 1st and it's still in processing mode and there are no bars or anything.     A friend of mine filed on February 16th and already has her money back....  frustrating.

I filed my taxes April 15 and its june 19 and still no federal taxes. I called and talk to an agent. He states that my taxes are still in processing due to identity verification. I never had this problem ever and now I do.

@gws11130 Once TurboTax submits your return to the IRS, any further updates will come from them. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to the IRS: How do I contact the Internal Revenue Service (IRS)?
