Probably not state.  Deluxe is $60 for Federal and 50 for state or maybe you are getting a discount from your bank or somewhere?

Did you go all the way through the File tab, through the 3 steps and hit the big orange Transmit Returns Now button?

When you efile you get back 2 emails.  The first email only confirms the transmission.  The second email says if the IRS (or state) Accepted or Rejected your efile.

When you log into your account you should also see the status and if it was Accepted or Rejected, Started, Printed, Ready to Mail, etc.  What does it say?

I want to make sure I paid for the state tax filing but I want to file my Federal tax now, file state later. how do I do that? I am starting to hate turbo tax, I cannot get a simple question answered

i wanted to pay for both.  I did not see an option. how do I fix this?

To not file state you can delete it.

Then you can add it again later.  But if you don't file state together with federal, you have to wait until your federal refund is Accepted to efile it or mail state.
