If you have not yet filed your return, submitted payment, deducted the TurboTax fee from your refund, or registered, you can choose to clear your return and start over by following the steps in this TurboTax FAQ. ​​​​​​​

how can I send the new, federal tax with the corrections?

If you have already filed your tax return, the only option to make any corrections would be to amend your return. Please see How to amend (change or correct) a return you already filed for directions.
