Just to clarify, did you amend your return and you now need to mail in your 1040X along with your W2's?

Yes I amended my other 3 w2s. I filled out a bunch of information on there. Now I just send my w2s and print the paper work off turbo tax?

That is correct. Be sure to prepare your state return as well, provided  you live in a state that has a state income tax.

Also, when you mail in your prepared amended tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s (that you mentioned you have) or any 1099’s.  It's also a good idea to use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified USPS. This way you will know when the IRS has received the return.

You can contact the IRS directly for more information regarding the status of your amended return once you have filed it.

Hold on---not sure you amended correctly.  The ONLY way to amend a tax return is to wait for the original return you e-filed to be fully processed.  THEN you prepare a special form called a

1040X

which you have to print, sign and mail in.  Is that what you did?  If not,  you did  not amend.

Well, I clicked the amend button and filled everything out so if I didn’t amend idk what else to do. I’m just going to sign and send the paperwork in. I thought the whole purpose of turbo tax was for me to be able to do my taxes from my home for free. What’s the point to E-file if I have to send all the same stuff through the mail anyways? I’ll just pay someone next year.

@freeze489 If the "paperwork" you completed is a

1040X

that is OK.  But you should not send it in until the first return you e-filed has been processed.  If you mail it in too soon you might confuse the IRS and cause your refund to be delayed for a long time.

And remember this for next year---never e-file until ALL of your income and information has been entered on the same tax return.

Says ready to mail. I’m just beyond confused.

Is the picture you posted at the top your original return? If yes, you will want to do as xmasbaby0 stated and not mail in your 1040X until the return at the top has been processed by the IRS.

Once your return has been accepted, you will not be able to make any changes until after your refund has been processed. Amending your return means filing a new form, 1040X. This is only required in certain situations.

You should not try to amend your return until it has been fully processed and you have received your refund or your payment has cleared. Amended returns do not “catch up” to your original returns and replace them.  They are processed as two separate returns.

I have already gotten the money for when I first filed so no it is NOT my original return. The picture above is what it says AFTER I clicked amend on TURBOTAX and put in my other 3 W2s. The question is, do I just wait or do I mail in the paper work because it’s SAYS ready to mail on TurboTax?

You have to print, sign and mail the 1040X yourself.  TurboTax does not mail it for you.

A 1040X cannot be e-filed.  It must be printed and mailed.  It will take about 4 months for the IRS to process an amended return.  It is a good idea to use a mailing service that will track it, like UPS or certified mail, so you will know it was received.

Wait about 3 weeks from mailing and you can check the status of your amended return:

An amended tax return, Form 1040X, can only be printed, signed, dated and mailed by you to the IRS, it cannot be e-filed. The IRS will take up to 4 months to process the amended tax return.
