The irs site just states to wait the 24 hours and for an email which i have not received and this morning irs site states to verify i received email which i still have not. So did my efile even get to them yet? I also tried speaking with a real person but the automated system says due to high call volume i can't be connected. I need help to make sure the irs has my efile
Did you receive an email from TurboTax after filing saying your tax return was in progress and you would be notified within 24-48 hours if it was accepted or rejected? If not, please call TurboTax Customer Support so you can speak with someone who can assist you.

Refunds usually take about 21 days after the IRS has accepted your e-filed return. Although, sometimes it can take longer. The IRS is taking more than 21 days (and up to 90 to 120 days) to issue refunds for tax returns with the Recovery Rebate Credit, Earned Income Tax Credit and Additional Child Tax Credit.
