I filed my taxes through Turbo Tax. I received my State Refund through direct deposit. However, I have NOT received my Federal. My bank does not know where it is. The IRS said it was sent to a GreenDot Bank Account and "then it should be sent to me." I don't even have a GreenDot Account. I can't get ahold of GreenDot (because I have no account), and TurboTax won't allow me to speak to a human....I may leave TurboTax for good. This is so off-putting.
I would suggest logging into your TurboTax account and checking your direct deposit account information for your Federal return so that you know where your refund went.
You can always contact TurboTax customer support, however, after your return has been accepted, TurboTax receives no further updates as to your refund status, so the IRS is who you would want to contact for assistance with this.
I have already contacted the IRS and I had had zero luck contacting Green Dot due to the fact that I do not have a Green Dot card. How will I get my 2020 taxes that the IRS sent to Turbo Tax? When I contacted Turbo Tax they referred me to Green Dot. I cannot get in touch with Green Dot due to the fact that I don't have an account with them. I have been waiting for my refund since 2021. I already had to obtain a lawyer to get my taxes refund after they were denied the first time and now my refund has been sent to Green Dot in which I do not have an account. I want to know where my money is.
Once a tax return has been Accepted by the IRS or a State, TurboTax receives no further information concerning the tax return or the status of any tax refund.
When you filed your 2020 tax return did you request to have the TurboTax account fees paid from the federal tax refund?
Or did you request to have the federal tax refund deposited to a TurboTax Visa debit card?
If you requested to have the TurboTax account fees deducted from your federal tax refund, the IRS will send the refund to a third party processor to have the fees and the service charge deducted. The third party processor will deduct the TurboTax fees plus the service charge and then attempt to direct deposit the remaining refund balance into the account that you entered on your tax return.

Just curious if you ever got this straightened out. I'm experiencing the same **bleep** issues. Green dot says the the account number that the IRS gave me doesn't exist. Needless to say they hung up on me and that was that. I been since 2022 trying to get this refund.
Same thing happened to me I check every so often but there's nothing I can do the irs has done a trace that's a green dot account which I never had and whenever I call them I can not get anybody in person and cannot get into account because I don't have one and nobody seems to be able to help I haven't used turbo tax since but I still want my money I say everyone get together they owe us plus interest
