I filed on Feb 9th,my taxes were accepted. I received my card, set it up on line and still have nothing. This card option is very misleading. I am getting the feeling that IF money is ever put on the card it will basically be the same time I will get my refund check direct deposited.
I filed through turbo tax , but selected debit Visa card through credit karma to receive my taxes on
If your return was accepted less than 21 days ago, hang in there. It can take anywhere from a few days to 3 weeks to go from acceptance to approval. This timeframe is unrelated to how, where, or when you filed and isn't connected to how quickly you got your refund last year. Please click here for more information.
No money goes on any cards until the IRS actually issues the refund. The IRS is seriously backlogged due to all the new tax laws and extra stimulus filings, as well as unprocessed 2019 returns left over from the COVID shutdown. Lots of other folks are still waiting, so please continue to be patient.
