my ttax desktop is win8, does not have a printer.  I want to use the finished 2020 tax return on a second desktop with the printer and use ttax 2018 (which runs on win7, current ttax does not) finished state return to print it.   If I transfer the ttax finished return via usb, will ttax2018 print it?  Otherwise I have to waste time figuring what forms I must print from the pdf verson.  Tell me it will work.

No. It will not work. Because TurboTax 2020 is not compatible with Windows 7.

are you saying ttax 2020 forms can't be printed on a prior year ttax on win7 using ttax 2019 or any prior.  Not completing a new form with ttax2020.  Just want to print the non PDF proprietary tax form! with a prior year TTax.  ?
