Everything is good to go. All forms ready. Refund method is advance option and it has been approved. It just keeps taking me in a circle and will not let me file.
Run Review and see what changed. Then fix the return and do the file again.
I have run review several times and nothing has changed. @GeorgeDenseff
Did you also use the Chrome browser and clear browsing data for all time before signing iin?
Same message I am getting.
I have "turbo advance" selected as my refund method and it did pre qualify me.
It just keeps going in circles.
We are aware of this issue and are looking into it. Since you are applying for the Refund Advance, you may be getting this message because the IRS will not start processing tax returns for the 2021 season until January 24, 2022. If you are still receiving this message after January 24, 2022, please reach out to Customer Support here for additional assistance.
How long before this is resolved it’s been two days just trying to get my taxes out of way one less thing to do this year.
Going on day 4 for me. I have reached out via phone ,and chat. Spoke with 2 CPAs to ensure my forms are correct. I also spoke with product specialist who have no idea what refund methods are offered.
Clearing cookies/cache doesn't work
Clearing form and starting over doesn't work
Running the review again doesn't work
Guess we will see what happens on the 24th
I’ve been trying to file all weekend and I to am receiving the same message. That’s something changed in my return and I have to choose my return again. Today is the 24th and it’s still doing that? What is going on?
This may help to resolve the issue.
Completely log out, close your browser window, and re-open it to try again. Please also clear your cache and cookies if the previous steps do not help. You can also try this on browser as well.

Thank you for your feedback. We have received reports that some are having this experience and have reported it for further investigation.
In the meantime, another user was able to find a possible workaround, you can view the thread here.
Ive done all the troubleshooting on this error message. called support 3 times over the last 3 days. No resolution to why this is looping us over and over only to get to "Something changed in your return, youll need to choose your refund method again"
Please see the workaround posted by Angiej302 in the following link to see if that addresses your issue.
Workaround for Credit Karma refund method
If that does not rectify your issue, please comment and let us know.
You can also use the link below to get updates on this issue as it is related to the email error message some are also receiving. This will allow us to notify you when the issue is resolved so you can proceed to file your tax return.
This workaround did not work for me. I tried it several times after “Michelle, Tax Professional” recommended we try it. I do not know about the email error issue in which you included a link for. I did not experience this.
I’ve tried clearing cache, different browser, looking for forms that possibly weren’t available yet, 3 different hour long conversations with 3 turbo tax professionals. Nothing worked.
still receive the “Something changed with your return” please choose another refund option. It’s an endless loop. Unable to file
And just to be clear, this isn’t the message I get for “Credit Karma Refund Option”. I get this when I choose the Refund Advance Option (I realize both options will deposit to credit karma account)
@JotikaT2 That workaround is confusing and does not work! Please update us.
The “work around” doesn’t work. And frankly, the “work around” doesn’t make since. You cannot “skip to file”.
What happens is we choose the advance refund option, following the prompts. Then we move on to signing and filing, following the prompts.
Once you get to the state page before the page that allows you to transmit your filing it gives the error. There is no “skipping” it as the work around suggests.
I’ve tried ALL of the suggestions on posts that I can find and none of them work. Please do not direct customers to extremely vague “instructions” that haven’t even been proven to actually work just to cause more frustration and confusion.
I’ve signed up for the email. Hopefully they can get it corrected soon.
Please go ahead and sign up for the email updates on the link posted above. The issue is being worked on currently.
By signing up for the updates, you will be notified when the issue is corrected. We apologize for the delay, but thank you for your patience!
Can you tell if we signed up for updates correctly? I think I did it through the link.
can you also update us here? I get an email when this thread is replied to.
thank you
Same thing happened to me smh. Now I’m getting the run around about my refund advance smh. Irs accepted my return on 1/21 4:30 pm and I have no answers to why I haven’t received my advance yet
Hey everybody! I was able to get my return submitted after getting this error for several days. I opened my turbotax account in google chrome internet browser. This is where I was able to see the issue was my state was not accepting returns yet. So I had to check the box to submit my federal return only. This allowed me to transmit my return and everything was fine with the refund advance application. Hope this helps.
