After I paid the fees to efile two state tax returns, it said one state is not eligible for efile. How can I get the refund for the efile fees?

Using the TurboTax desktop CD/Download editions there is an e-file charge which is currently $24.99 for each state tax return e-filed.  This charge can be avoided by printing and mailing the state tax return.

Contact TurboTax support for any billing issues and to request a refund of the state e-file charge.  Use the key words billing issues when entering the problem and do Not use the word Refund or you will get a phone number for tax refunds.

There are no e-file fees when using the TurboTax online editions.  The TurboTax account fees are for the use of the software to assist in completing a tax return.  The fees are the same whether the tax return is e-filed or printed for mailing.

I downloaded the Premier and it charges me for state efile.

The following instructions does not work as "billing issues" or not all take you to the phone contact

 

Contact TurboTax support for any billing issues and to request a refund of the state e-file charge.  Use the key words billing issues when entering the problem and do Not use the word Refund or you will get a phone number for tax refunds.

Did you see these following screens, get a toll free number and a Support ID number?  IF so, what happened when you called?

(This phone number and the support ID will not be valid if you try and use them)  You must get a new phone number and ID.
