How do I get a fast refund for only my state or federal return?
When filing with TurboTax, you have three options to receive a fast refund:
A Refund Advance loan
Up to 5 Days Early in any bank account
Up to 5 Days Early in a Credit Karma Money account
If you have both a federal and state refund, and your state refund is in California, Michigan, Arizona, or Wisconsin, you’ll only see an option for a combined state and federal fast refund. If you’d like just a fast federal or fast state refund, follow these steps:
To get only federal fast refund
Select No thanks when prompted.
Select the Fast deposit $35 option on the federal refund selection screen.
To get state only
Select No thanks when prompted.
Don't choose $35 option for federal.
Under You chose direct deposit, select Revisit.
Don't choose $35 option for federal again
Select Fast deposit when asked (this screen is skipped the first time around)
