What is TurboTax Intelligence Mode?

TurboTax Intelligence Mode lets you prep your taxes by chatting—no typing into forms. You upload your documents, answer a few questions, and AI builds your return as you chat. Using decades of experience, TurboTax does all the calculations to make sure your numbers are right.

Before you file, you'll review everything TurboTax gathered from your documents and your conversation. Fix anything that needs it, then approve your return when you're ready to file.

Switch to Classic Mode

If you'd rather prepare your return the traditional way, step-by-step through guided screens, you can switch to Classic Mode whenever you like.

Just select Switch to Classic Mode in the left menu.
