You're eligible if you:

• Didn't file with TurboTax last year
• Start and file your taxes using the TurboTax mobile app
• File using the Do your own taxes product. TurboTax live products are excluded
• File by February 28, 2025

What happens if I file my taxes after February 28?

If you file after February 28, 2025, the cost of TurboTax goes back to regular pricing, which is based on the complexity of your tax return. 

Can I still file for free without taking the offer?

Yes, you can file with TurboTax free edition on any platform if you qualify. You must have a Simple form 1040 return only (no schedules except for Earned Income Tax Credit, Child Tax Credit and student loan interest) in order to qualify. ~37% of taxpayers qualify to file with TurboTax Free Edition.
