How do I take a picture of my W-2 in TurboTax Online?
Here's how to take a picture of your W-2 and upload it to TurboTax Online:
Open your return in TurboTax.
Go to Form W-2.
After entering the employer ID from your W-2, select Snap a photo with your phone on the How would you like to add your W-2? screen.
Open your phone’s camera, hold it over the QR code, and tap the link that appears.
You'll be prompted on your phone to take a photo of your W-2.
If you have an iPhone, it must use iOS 14 or higher. If you have an Android phone, it must use Android 8 or higher.
It's not working on my Android phone
You might need to adjust the settings on your phone. Here’s how:
Open settings on your phone.
Select Apps & Notifications (or Apps on some devices).
Select Default Apps.
Select Opening links and turn on Instant Apps.
Select Instant App preferences and turn on Upgrade web links.
