Manually Update TurboTax Business Software
If you find you need to manually update your TurboTax Business software, here are some instructions to get started.
TurboTax Business 2025
If you're having trouble updating your TurboTax Business 2025 software using the "Check for Updates" method, you can get the latest federal program update here:
Close TurboTax Business and all other programs except this browser window.
Save the update file to your Windows desktop.
Double-click the update file w_bizrelsuperpatch... on your desktop to install the manual update.
2020–2024 manual updates
To update your prior-year TurboTax Business software, follow the previous instructions, but instead of clicking the link in step 2, click the tax year you need:
2023 manual update (259 MB)
2022 manual update (R33 - 186 MB)
2021 manual update (R34 - 146 MB)
2020 manual update (R17 - 146 MB)
2019 and earlier manual updates aren't available, as these products are no longer supported.
