Will Turbotax 2024 be released for new Macs (e.g. M2)? Or, do we need to install the x86 Rosetta Emulator to use?

I was disappointed to see a prompt to install x86 Rosetta emulator software when trying to install Turbotax 2024.  I would've expected that many years ago... but now?  Every Mac sold is Apple Silicon.  Intuit expects every Mac user to run the emulation software?

Before I return the product, could someone from Intuit give an official response on this topic?

1) Will Intuit release a Mx optimized version of Turbotax 2024?  If so, I'll wait...

2) If I don't want to install emulator software on my Mac, is there a free way to transfer license to Turbotax online and get access to the same capabilities without the software?

Thanks

I don't know where or why you're getting this prompt but I'm running TT 2024 download on Mac Mini M4 with MacOS 15, no issues, no emulator

there's a similar discussion on this topic here

they were concerned about running rosetta and we confirmed that TT 2024 is an "x86_64" intel excecutable.  I am running a new M4 with Mac OS 15.1 Sequoia, looks like rosetta came with the OS and this is all happening behind the scenes for me, I did not do anything to install or invoke it.  I purchased TT from Amazon.

I'm not sure if these will address your situation or not, but here are a couple FAQs that might be helpful for MAC:
