Why does your "More details" link on the Successful Updates box simply go to a main TurboTax page instead of the program history page? .

TurboTax Windows 2018 in Windows 8.1:  Recently when I am invited to update when I enter TUrboTax and tell it to update, I am told the areas which are updated.  Clicking on one of those "Program Updates (Critical)" give me "(Released 4/3/2019) Program Updates More Details"

Click on More Details simply takes me to a main Turbotax page with no route to program histroy.

How do I find out what was in this update?

The critical Missouri 2018 program release details for a TurboTax updater in June 2019 are not included when I use the link and see what details have been provided.

Same wrong link problem with TurboTax 2019.

Problem still exists for Turbo Tax 2019 H&B. Should it concern us that it takes over 6 months to correct a bad URL in the update summary - especially when the URL should come in with each update?

BTW - this should not be marked as Solved since it has not been solved. There wasn't even a solution provided to the OP.

I Agree. I also still a bug in 2019 Premier. This is easy to fix. Intuit, Please listen to Paid Users, and do it now. Thanks.

TurboTax has made the decision that they will no longer be providing Release Notes effective with tax year 2019

The More details link in the TurboTax updater window is scheduled to be removed later in 2020.

Any comments concerning these decisions by TurboTax should be addressed to TurboTax support.

"TurboTax has made the decision that they will no longer be providing Release Notes effective with tax year 2019"

Why would a software company make such a decision?  People rely on this software for critical personal income tax submissions to the government. Transparency in the software product seems quite important. Frankly, I now trust Intuit less than I used to because of this simple documentation gap.

Fine, Intuit has stated that they no longer publish software update information in TurboTax.  But seriously, why don't they remove the link to view those updates?  It should be an easy fix and it would stop wasting everyone's' time trying to look for a solution.

Poor decision from the end user's standpoint.
