why a i being charged an additional $44 for premium services benefits

I'm already paying $79 for TurboTax federal and $64 state, why are they charging an additional $44 for Premium Services benefits?

You probably select to have the Turbo Tax fees deduct from your refund.  There is an Extra $40 Refund Processing Service charge (45 in California).   You can pay with a credit card to avoid the extra service charge.

 

In the Online version,  If you are in California you need to remove the Premium Service first then pay with a credit card
