Where to enter laptop, software, subscriptions for business use?

Using TurboTax Home and Business 2024 (Windows version).

Where should I enter the laptop, software, subscription I paid for business use? 

There is no Business Expenses for fix asset or office expenses.

Should them go under 'other miscellaneous Expenses'?

What about the office furniture I bought? It doesn't feel right that office / business assets should go to 'other miscellaneous Expenses'.

No under Business Assets.

 

Go to Business tab- then Continue

Choose Jump to Full List -or- ill choose what to work on

 

Then…..

Business Income and Expenses - Click the Start or Update button

 

If you haven't added a business yet you have to go though a lot of screens describing your business.  Or if you already added your business, you should see the Business Summary page that lists your businesses.

 

Then click EDIT by the Business name and the next screen should be a list of  topics,

Business Profile, Income, Inventory/Cost of Goods Sold, Expenses, Assets, and Final Details

 

Click Start or Update by Business Assets

And yes there is Office Expenses for other things that aren’t assets and don’t need depreciating.

 

Under Business Expenses, Click Start or Update by Other common business expenses.  You should see the list of expenses and amounts you entered.

Then click the start or update button by the expense you want to add or edit.

 

Office Expenses is the 10th item under Expenses - Click the Start or Update button
