If you are claiming Head of Household on your return, the program automatically asks the questions needed to fill out this form and it will be included in your filed return.  If you are using the desktop version of TurboTax, you can go to Forms on the upper right, then see all the forms in your Federal and CA return.

Anyone know what to do if there is an error? It won't let me fix it! And now I cannot file my state taxes!

Please re-run the final review.  The error check will instruct you on what to edit/enter to correct the problem.

If in your Personal Info or My Info you entered that you were a resident of California AND that your filing status is Head of Household, then form CA 3532 will be added automatically to your state return.

If it isn't there, please open your return and go back to Personal Info/My Info and make sure that you are listed as a resident of California and that your filing status is Head of Household.

If that doesn't lead to a solution, you will have to contact TurboTax support if you have paid for a product, because we here in the Community cannot see your tax return nor the screen you are on.

The Free Edition of TurboTax does not provide phone support. If you have a question, you can ask it here on the Community and we will try to help you.

If, however, you are using a paid version of TurboTax, please see this TurboTax FAQ.
