1099-R forms have been going out. You will receive your 1099-R from your Financial Institution. They have until the end of January to be sent out. You can also check your Financial website to see if you can print a copy of your 1099-R form out.
You'll get a 1099-R if you received $10 or more from a retirement plan. 1099-R forms are typically sent by January 31st. You're required to report a 1099-R on your tax return, even if the distribution is not taxable. You can add up to twenty 1099-Rs in TurboTax.
Here's how to enter your 1099-R:
To enter your retirement income, Go to Federal> Wages and Income>Retirement Plans and Social Security>IRA 401 k) Pension Plan Withdrawals to enter your 1099R.
Or do you mean when will you be able to import it? Financial institutions usually have your 1099R available to print or view on their website a few weeks before the data is ready for import into tax software. It often takes until sometime into February before you can import a 1099R. If you want to key it in by hand before then you can do that if you are able to get it from the website.
