What is the fee to have the cost of filing come out of your federal return?

Refund processing is an extra fee of $40, or if you are in CA, it is $45.

There is an Extra $40 Refund Processing Service charge (45 in California) to have the fees deducted from your federal refund.  So your refund has to be big enough to cover the fees plus the extra charge.
