WHat if my first name if different on one of my W2 forms.

I haven't yet changed the name on passport. This W2 is also the most important as it is linked with my Ret plan.. Thanks!

The name that you enter on your tax return should be the same name that is on your current Social Security card.  The name on the tax return and the name on a W-2 do not have to match.  This is not an issue with the IRS as they compare against Social Security numbers.

My request for a refund form does not accept Harmon, Charles or HC as my first name. What can I do?
