What if an employer doesn't turn in their tax documents to the IRS and I file it on my tax return?
The IRS accepted my federal and state return on February 1st, 2024 and paid out the state, but will not pay federal due to an employer not turning in their tax forms for their employees.

Did you receive a notice from the IRS? If so, you should be able to follow the instructions on the notice and reply with proof of the documents you received and used to prepare your tax return.
You may also want to reach out to a Taxpayer Advocate for assistance. They may be able to bridge the gap between the IRS and yourself and help you get resolution to process your return.
