I received an email that noted, Your 2018 tax return was accessed. What does that mean?
I called the number on the e mail saying my form was accessed. The number is not a working number.
See this link for an explanation of what accessed means.

I received a email saying my 2018 tax return was accessed.. What does this mean
It was me( Kim Moore accessed in my account with another device, computer issues, also was trying to do my taxes for year(s) 2018, 2017 . I guess turbo tax thought they were all 2019. (3 yrs tax )
That's fine. You'll be notified when your account was accesses from a different device. TurboTax is just letting you know in case it wasn't you. You can ignore the message.
Did you receive an email? Did you sign into your TurboTax account from another browser recently?
problem is I havent logged into my returns since April. And I just got three emails that the last three years returns were accessed.
I received 3 emails stating that my account was accessed all with the same time and date stamp. Are all these from my access or can it be someone else?
Thanks
Were you accessing TurboTax during this time? If you don't think so or you are not sure, I would change your password. To do this, please see the help article here.
My tax return was accessed and I was wondering what city and state was it accessed from. I only use 1 device for all my tax needs. Thank you
@Marksketo, if you did not access your return, I would suggest changing your user ID and password. You can also add a phone number, if you haven't done so already or turn on two-step authentication. I hope this helps.
My tax return was accessed is just TurboTax telling you that you logged into your account and downloaded your return from the server.
If you are concerned that it isn't you (someone else) then you can change your password.
TurboTax is cautious because we want to be sure that your information remains secure at all times.
Here is an IRS FAQ about identity theft.
@Cin5 Has your return been accepted?
The next step will be your return going to pending status, which simply means that your e-filed return is on its way and that the government hasn't accepted or rejected it yet. You will then receive an email informing you that your return has been accepted or rejected by the IRS. If
your return is rejected, you will receive an email instructing you on how to fix it.
You can check your e-file status. If it's been accepted, you can begin to track your refund at the IRS Where's My Refund? site. You'll need your Social Security number or ITIN, filing status, and the exact amount of your refund to check your status.
