  • Has it been 21 days since you have filed? The bar is an estimated time frame in which you should receive your return. The only way to know when your refund will be released is to use the IRS Where's My Refund tool.
  • The IRS Where's My Refund? lookup service provides a specific, personalized date for your tax refund.
  • The TurboTax Refund Tracker, on the other hand, projects an estimated date range on when you can expect your refund, based on other TurboTax customers who have already received their refunds.

When the bar is full that means it will be deposited that day? Mine was half way until midnight last night then it was full.

You can check the IRS website for a status update as well.  Just click on "Check my refund status" bar on the right hand side.

I’ve been doing that, all it says is it’s being processed. But my blue line is all the way full now. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I understand.  Just remember the TurboTax bar is just an estimate based on average processing times.  The IRS page will let you know where they are at with your return/refund. Remember many returns won't see refunds until early March.

When the blue line is complete, it means that the IRS has accepted your return and that you have an estimated refund date (if you are expecting a tax refund). Please continue to check for updates using the Where's My Refund? tool at the IRS website, which updates daily, in order to find out your estimated date of deposit.
