What all do I need to send if Im mailing my Indiana State return?

If you are mailing your Indiana return, the complete filing instructions should print with your state return including the address to mail. 

But in general, there are two main pages to the IT-40, Indiana full year resident return. You will sign the second page of the IT-40 and place all other pages of the tax return, behind it. These pages should be numbered, so you know what order to put them in. 

You will also need to mail any income documents such as W-2 forms or 1099 forms. Do not attach these forms however. Please view the link below. for a list of instructions on submitting your Indiana tax return.

If you owe taxes, you can make a payment at this link. https://www.officialpayments.com/index.jsp

Or you can pay with your return at this address:

  • Indiana Department of Revenue

If this is a non-resident form, do I have to mail 1099s since I did not allocate any of this income to IN?

You do not need to include W2s or 1099s that do not have an IN withholding. This is mentioned in the official IN Dept of Revenue 2020 guidebook. https://forms.in.gov/Download.aspx?id=14817 (search for 1099)

my  message is  im wanting the  information about my state  taxes has not got in my  bank account  yet how long do i have to wait? also i was working 3 illinios 1 indiana. i was told to pay them a  payment with them from turb  tax.  i got my  federal taxes .

Simply put your SSN and tax year on the check memo section if you are including a payment.
